A honey-based face cream for silky skin

To make this recipe from the book Healthy & Beautiful, by Zoé Armbruster, ed. First, combine the following ingredients: 1 ripe organic avocado, 2 tablespoons of organic plain yogurt, 1 tablespoon of liquid honey and 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

Instructions for use :

 1.In a bowl, crush the avocado with the back of a fork and then add the 2 tablespoons of yoghurt.
 2.Add the honey and olive oil and mix vigorously with a small whisk until a smooth and homogeneous paste is obtained. If the avocado is not ripe enough, the mixture is blended in a blender.
3.One applies the preparation to the whole of the face, on dry skin. One leaves to pose 15 minutes.
 4.One rinses with tepid water.

"This mask is very rich, it is preferable to reserve it for dry and very dry skin. Its omega-9 content provided by avocado and olive oil, combined with the moisturizing action of honey, nourishes the skin, ensures comfort and skin repair. Another asset: the yoghurt rich in lactic acid gently exfoliates for smooth skin and a more radiant complexion. Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin once a week in the evening". 

A moisturizing honey-based scrub mask

To make this recipe from the book Le guide Terre Vivantede la beauté au naturel, ed. Terre Vivante, combine the following ingredients: 2 tablespoons of plain brewed yogurt, 2 teaspoons of liquid honey, 2 tablespoons of coconut powder and 2 drops of lavender essential oil.  

Instructions for use :

1.In a bowl, pour the honey and yogurt, mix. Mix the coconut powder with the honey and yogurt combo. We add the essential oil, we mix.
 2.We apply the paste on the face. For an exfoliation, one carries out circular movements while insisting on the forehead zone, wings of the nose, chin. One rinses with water.
3.For a mask-scrub, leave on for 10 minutes before exfoliating.

"Very rich in vitamin A, E, and other antioxidants, this cream contains everything necessary to nourish, regenerate the skin, soften it. It is suitable for all skin types. It is an excellent remedy in case of hands damaged by manual work, DIY, gardening or subjected to the extreme cold. It can be applied as often as necessary." 

A honey cream for soft hands

To make this recipe from the book Produits de beauté au naturel by Rebecca Sullivan published by Artémis, combine the following ingredients: 2 tablespoons of shea butter, 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of coconut oil, 2 tablespoons of argan oil and 20 drops of rose essential oil. 

 1.Shea butter and coconut oil are melted in a water bath. Add honey and mix. Remove the bain-marie from the heat.
2.One pours argan oil then one adds the EO of rose and one mixes.
3.Once cooled, we beat the preparation with an electric whisk for 5 minutes, until a light and creamy consistency is obtained.
  4.We put a hazelnut of this mixture on the nails and on the back of the hands, we massage the cuticles then the hands. Put on disposable gloves for at least 20 minutes, ideally overnight.
